I picked Monty up today and he is quite chipper all things considered! He has two drains and looks a bit of a mess but it will look better when I clean him up a bit.

Another butt shot for your enjoyment!! I am just so pleased he is OK and home.

Monty is very restless tonight. He was given Rimadyl and it just isn't helping. I had some left-over Tramadol so I gave him one and will call the Vets in the morning. He doesn't know what to do with himself, poor buddy.

Oh I know exactly how you feel! Thankfully I have codeine and a sedative for Jax. But he was restless earlier and it was stressing me out. It seems like there are a few of us going through recoveries with our babies.

I hope Monty has a speedy and comfortable recovery!

You can give him 2-3 tramadol. It's pretty safe ... At least until tomorrow morning - poor guy :(

Poor love, hoping he's resting now. That has to be very sore :(

He's such a strong, brave boy & praying this is the end of this
infection. Sending huge hugs, call to see if something stronger
or different is needed. Good you've got Tramadol for tonight.
XOXO

I just picked up Tramadol from the vets so hopefully Monty will have a much better day. He was very restless all night which is not like him at all. Once he goes to bed, he usually doesn't move!

Tramadol is stronger than codeine so might as well give him that, poor guy.

The Tramadol is working, thank goodness. He is much more relaxed. No more pacing or panting. The Rimadyl didn't do a thing for him.

Fantastic ! If you notice he's still in pain with the tramadol you can give the rimadyl as well, since tramadol is a narcotic type pain killer whereas rimadyl is a non narcotic anti inflammatory pain killer ( similar to Advil or Aleve ).

Much better news & thank God it's working better. Nothing worse than
our children or fur babies suffering, just unbearable :(

Sending y'all much love & continued prayers for fast recovery! XOXO
