Hi all! New here. I am Lisa and I have 1 bullie, Lola who is almost 3, and we are about to give her a brother, to be named. I just found this site and wow is it great so far. I hope the addition to our family goes over well for Lola. She is the center of attention and I am concerned she will have some issues sharing us with "to be named". Any help/advise would be appreciated! Also super nervous about getting him. We have looked for several weeks now and could not find a beautiful bully in our area (hard time finding one and/or comfortable with the "breeder") so have purchased one from Missouri (we are in Mobile, AL) and he is having to be shipped. We have been in contact with the "breeder" or family as I like to call them. We feel comfortable with them and they seem/are very reputable. I did a lot of research before putting a deposit down. I will be a wreck the day he is shipped but cannot wait. It is like expecting your 2nd child, will in this case will be the 4th (two human and two bullies), oh 5 if you count the dear hubby. Thank you and sorry for the long post :-).

Hi and Welcome to the site! You are right this is the best site ever!! Congrats on your new baby, when are you getting him? :) Cant wait to see some pics!

Hello and welcome to the forum... I just got purchased by my second bully lol... Just introduce slow.. I still have not introduced Ireland to all the gang (3 other dogs) they have seen her out in the front yard but thats about it lol.. I will be introducing them this weekend.. I think she has settled in pretty well.. Good luck with you new boy....

He will arrive on 12/10 and will be 11 weeks. I can't wait to post pictures and need to get some posted of Lola. I can't wait to get some of the two together around the Christmas tree. My daughter, who is 5, is so excited. Wish we would not have told her. She is really going to have to watch it and not pay attention to just the puppy. Lola and her are pretty thick :-). Thanks!!

Hi Lisa, what a great name you have! :)

Welcome to the site, and don't ever worry about long posts or too many questions. One thing you will find about the members here is that they are very very very helpful!

I have never had a problem introducing puppies- Lola may challenge her to make sure she knows she is the alpha in the house. If this happens, roll Lola on her back and hover over her, look her in the eyes, and make sure she knows YOU are leader. Always feed Lola first, then puppy second. Treats to Lola first, then puppy second. Establish the pack order early and you won't spend the rest of your life trying to establish it later (like I am....).

Cannot wait to see pictures!!! Please share!

We have a monthly photo contest, and all kinds of other fun stuff here- The Bully Bucks, BullyTube, the Bully Market, funny user titles, awards, achievements.... Check out this forum for all of the tutorials you can ever think of! : Quick and Easy Site Tutorials for New Members

Welcome to the site. I am glad you have found it. It is perfect for any questions or concerns with the up-coming events. Now when you get the Christmas Tree photo, don't forget about the photo of the month contest.

Thank you Lisa! That is some good advice. I am nervous that we get this puppy and he turns out complete opposite of how Lola behaves. She is great I mean close to perfect. She minds very well, no accidents since she was about 10 weeks and has a lot of respect for all of us. She is great and we love her very much. I know we will love the new one too, we already do, but hope he is as good as she is. This site is awesome. I have been on another website and it was just so-so. So far this site is great and i even felt comfortable in posting something. Thanks again and I will get some pics posted real soon.

Welcome to the site! Can't wait to see pics. And please feel free to ask any questions you may have, all of us are always here to help. And we love random stories and pics too

Thanks everyone. I see why this is such a great site, great bully loving people on it. I am going to try to post two pics and if it does not work will go read the how to's. The "lady" by the pool is Lola and the puppy is "to be named".
