So, at least once a week I make a huge bowl of fruit salad to eat throughout the week. Well, Horse never begs, except when I'm eating a bowl of fruit salad! He must be able to smell it, so I end up sitting here sharing with him, being sure to give him spoonfulls with no grapes!

I reckon it's because he sits and watches you whilst your putting all the chopping and prep time into that bowl - and assumes you must be doing it for him
