...and lucky too! It's 8am, Hubby went off to work (still has his job, altho
in jeopardy still as his company's changing up), Mother isn't up yet, she's
been very confused this week, her minute to minute memory just gone. I
worry how long I can actually take care of her in my home but for now...
I can. Watching early morning news, a discussion going on showcasing the
'True Blood' series, Mr Brutie is snoring right beside me, CoCo Chanel lying
quietly against my arm on my other side...if anyone wants suggestions of
the perfect breed of cat to get, please consider a Ragdoll, they are everything
a cat should be! I think a lot of us bully lovers LOVE the fact most bullies want
to be with us, interacting w/us and just hanging out w/us...Ragdoll's are just
like that, not independent like so many cat breeds. Very, very loving, gentle,
laid back, they get along w/everyone and are tolerant of strangers & kids, pets.
Their fur is rabbit soft, you can not keep your hands off them! Jewel like, deep
blue eyes and they are marked w/points, similar to Siamese coloring. CoCo is a
light cream w/dark chocolate face, ears, paws & tail-her sapphire eyes peering
out of that chocolate face is so stunning! They talk-soft, musical little sounds
and love you to talk back. As a young woman, it never entered my mind, I'd carry
on constant conversation w/my cat-I was very different then-Type AAA, driven,
determined, focused-way too busy to 'talk' to cats. In fact, had no pets-I worked
long & late into the night and as my ex described me, always 'in the road'. Don't
get me wrong, I LOVED my life! After the diseases I was dx'ed with, disabled me,
I thought I'd go mad w/the boredom of being home and it took me several years
to come to grips with that. So, getting back to my 1st sentence, lying here w/m!
beloved animals, watching TV on my big, king size feather bed, posting away to
y'all-my new best friends. Pain & fatigue controlled at the moment, I am happy
& lucky & content. I wish the same for all y'all & hope y'all have a blessed day!
