My sweet Winnie passed away yesterday. She’s been by my side for 10.5 years and it’s so hard to be home without her.
Her food bowl still has food in it, her bed is still there waiting for her…

We took her to the vet for loss of appetite and a swollen belly, and she was diagnosed with advanced congestive heart failure. He said there wasn’t anything we could do at this point, so we made the decision to say goodbye.

Just very heartbroken and wanted to share a picture of my girl.
I’ll miss her forever.

The hardest thing to say is the goodbyes I had to do it twice within a year. When a health and age issue arises out of nowhere like Winnie‘s, our hands are tied. We don’t want to have them suffer either and will have to make one the hardest decisions of our lives. But you have 10.5yrs of beautiful memories
