I have 2 sets of eyes staring at me. They follow me around the house. It's 37 degrees outside and windy, bringing the temp to feel like 31 degrees. So no walk this morning. Too cold for me and surely too cold for the boys. They don't want to play fetch. They don't want to play in the tunnel. We did the obedience drills, sit, stay, place, down, come... They are still looking at me like I'm supposed to come up with something else for them to do. Any suggestions? I confess to having limited ideas with 2 dogs that will compete against each other unless there are 2 toys.

I don't have that problem. Jeffo just keeps pestering me, until I get the harness of the hook, no matter what the weather is. Not much help to you though, I can't even think of anything, sorry.

Living in Canada 🄶 That’s like -27cel and is too cold for these dogs. I use to simply put their Winter jackets on with their booties. It was just for their quick business and run back in. Get them marrow bones. It will keep them busy.

Same here… for cubby we got a remote control car he chases but fir Eleanor she just likes to gnaw on the bones

😳 remote control car he chases? You seriously need to put that on video! It’s sounds hilarious. I can see the brat in action! Loll
I’ll have to load to YouTube and post o e… he is relentless . Already destroyed two by ripping tires off

Winnie certainly loves her outdoor time but for the colder weather, she gets her belly warmer and heavy coat on. If it’s just chilly, she gets a belly warmer. But we also take long car rides on rainy days or when the weather gets too cold for both of us. I believe the visual/mental stimulation of the car ride helps her relax.

Go for a car ride...weather permitting.
We do that. Today was warm so I drove to a historical park nearby. Unfortunately it wasn’t much of a hike to add to their Fit Dog walk logs so we drove to a park in our neighborhood. I should get them out more often. They do seem to like getting out.

They love different stimuli and places so if for whatever reason you can’t take them outdoors for a good walk you have to try to come up with something and if like me you don’t drive that can be really hard! I do things like food and treat treasure hunts, I do little bits of training here and there reinforcement is always good, not for long or they get bored. I invent tricks that don’t even exist and are impossible to actually do šŸ˜‚ but it keeps Freya occupied and of course the treats help. I bought her a bubble machine we play mixed up games together. Such as tug tag , fetch fight (don’t ask ) needless to say I then have to retrain her into normal versions of the games! She has an interactive ball ( about her 20th) this one sort of lasting longer than the others. Every time she plays with it I have to makeshift fix it! She’s a very aggressive chewer and any toy you can think of from basement value to nerf or kong she somehow destroys! But it’s all part of the joys of bullies and it keeps them happy and occupied when we can’t be outdoors with them.

We do some training mixed with play. I do the boys separately and sometimes together. 15 minutes is the max. I lay out a tunnel and hula hoops… Daily walks… I think that they believe I’m to supply 14 hours of entertainment every day.šŸ˜„

šŸ˜‚ I know the feeling! How you manage two of them I dread to think. Freya’s a whirlwind on her own, add another to the mix and I’d have a tornado on my hands!

They say bulldogs are lazy šŸ˜‚ if so then Freya missed that message!
I thought about getting her the tunnels like I used to get my kids but I’ve tried makeshift ones with treats trailed throughout but she will not go in , I’ve crawled through them to encourage her , more like slithered like a snake to be honest 🤣 but she hates them. Muddy puddled manky old railway tunnels excluded of course.

Try going through the tunnels, and eat the treats.:ROFLMAO:
