I recall you a few years ago I wasnā€™t 100% sold on Colloidal Silver. I will have to admit after tons of research I would say, itā€™s ok. Iā€™m the type that will do a lot of reading before adding anything to my diet or my dogs. CS is not FDA approved but a lot of FDAā€™s so call approval meds are all CRAP anyway. That being said, I still wouldnā€™t use CS on daily basis.

I use it topically for the boys. Iā€™ll spray a microfiber cloth with it and wipe their faces after they eat. Iā€™ve sprayed it in a cut as well but Iā€™ve never given orally.

You guys fed up of UTIā€™s???

Try grapefruit seed extract! Yes for humans too!!

Also NOT just for UTI!! :)

https://wagwalking.com/wellness/benefits-of-grapefruit-seed-extract-for-your-dog

Read all especially at the end on what to buy.. only 2 ingredients on a label !!
https://draxe.com/essential-oils/grapefruit-seed-extract/

NOTE: Never purchase a grapefruit seed extract product that contains health-hazardous, synthetic chemicals like methylparaben, benzethonium chloride or triclosan. A typical formula recommend contains just two ingredients: grapefruit seed extract and vegetable glycerin.

I give cinnamon for my dogs in regimens. I found this site in english.... https://www.animalwised.com/benefits-of-cinnamon-for-dogs-2644.html

Interesting article. Usually cinnamon will affect....low blood sugar, liver disease, vomiting, diarrhea, and fluctuations in heart rate. I do understand as we move on with holistic way, we keep learning n finding out new studies that will completely have said the opposite 5-10yrs ago. I personally wouldnā€™t give cinnamon to a do but you are. I for sure will be researching more on this. :)

You give it on regular basis n how long theyā€™ve been on it?

I usually make a mixture of different herbs that work well together and give it for 2-3 weeks. Then maybe a couple of days nothing and then some other mixture.

I posted this below for someoneā€™s dog having UTI issues n 3 rounds of antibiotics.... Anyhoo... most knows antibiotics kills even the good cells. Why a probiotic is very important to be given while being on antibiotics to restore the guts flora. Now itā€™s not just any probiotic. We need to understand.......

ā€œprobiotics refrigerated vs shelf.ā€ I prefer the refrigerated ones as there are specific strains in the bottle that needs to be in the fridge to stay alive. Now shelf life, what a lot of people donā€™t know n should be on the label n make sure you have good eyesight cause it will be in very fine print, it needs to be between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit wherever itā€™s sitting. If itā€™s not on the label, itā€™s on their website somewhere. Probably under acknowledgement section. The perfect probiotic lays under....how it was transported to the store. We have no clue how long itā€™s been sitting at the docks or at truck depots which can be for hours, often in the heat of the sun or how long itā€™s also been sitting in the back box of truck without refrigerated control. Basically itā€™s all about how itā€™s stored and shipped under strict temperature control. Shelf has a much higher risk that the strains has already died in the bottle. Why I would ā€œneverā€ buy any probiotics on a shelf. Any shelf products are usually all heated to seal the container, jars or bottles. This goes also for any human food. Anything that is canned is basically dead. Youā€™re eating nothing that has a nutritional value. Just like pet food in a can. Heat kills! Another reason why we should simply buy fermented food as a probiotic. All these boutique shelf supplements or chewy type and even all these fancy kibbles is all about marketing. Donā€™t break your head, very simple, fermented sauerkraut, fermented veggies, fermented ACV, smelly green frozen tripe, organs or fresh wild caught frozen whole fish. Itā€™s loaded of natural probiotics.

I figured Iā€™ll add these links in here for the ones that wants to learn about raw diets, the ratio, how much to feed, probiotics-prebiotics, taurine, etc etc...

I know simply giving kibbles to your pet is much easier. Itā€™s as we say, get it over with type. But definitely like all animals were meant to eat in the wild is raw.

In a nutshell....

This is what I feed my dogs n no you canā€™t order it as itā€™s only in Alberta. But check the ratio %

Read each link. I bet youā€™ll become a pro n do it yourself. :) it looks a lot but itā€™s very simple n a lot less expensive if than a higher quality kibble.

Iā€™m a big fan on oil of oregano. I do give it to my dogs ā€œevery other dayā€ only. I mix it in one of their meals 2drops only. I too take it myself.

Enjoy your reading as thereā€™s so much great info in these links. And at the end of the day, youā€™ll have a healthier dog n see less of your vet. :)
