Description: UPDATE 10/30/17: Sluggo is in a different foster home and we continue to learn more about him. Right now he has 2 female english bulldog foster sisters and he enjoys playing with them, but most likely he will do best in an only dog home, because he does get jealous of them. He also loves to be by his people as well when you are home. His hair is slowly growing back and he will stay on apoquel and continue with his medicated baths for life. Sluggo, is such a sweetheart with those he knows, but can have some fear when meeting new people. Our trainer we worked with thinks this is likely because he was not well socialized or someone was not so nice to him. We are looking for a couple or single person without kids that would like the perfect house dog, since Sluggo does not always do as well in busy social settings. We are willing to do a foster to adopt with Sluggo, for those that are local to the Tampa Bay or Orlando area.
UPDATE 9/9/17: Sluggo is a very friendly boy who's skin is clearing up nicely. He will probably need to stay on Apoquel for life for his skin allergies. Sluggo has had a couple of issues with his foster brother, so we will probably look for a home without other dogs in it to be certain that sticks as his forever home.
INTAKE: Sluggo comes to us after his family realized they did not have the financial means to care for an English Bulldog. He has skin allergies that got out of hand that we are working on now. He is scheduled to be neutered in mid September.
Sluggo is a very friendly boy and appears to get along well with everyone! He is a love bug and enjoys giving kisses. He's fairly petite and up to 45 pounds now.
