My precious angel inhales her food and treats. Is there any chewy type treat out there that would keep her busy for a few minutes without endangering her? I know to avoid rawhide , pigs' ears, bones, that kind of thing. She has a nylobone which she chews on occassionally., but not with great enthusiasm.

What about some of the toys that, take treats in them, keeps them happy, until there are no treats left in:LOL: I use a Kong XL bone for Jeffo, keeps him happy for about 30min(y)

Is it OK to give our dogs uncooked bones with marrow? They won't splinter when chewed a lot and hurt them?

Raw bones are great .. no splintering. We give them frozen and they are busy for a good hour

Like Christine said, they’re perfect! I’ve been giving all my dogs throughout my lifetime Raw Marrow bones. No issues whatsoever. Great for their gut flora. Builds the immune system too 👍

My girl Pickle chewed on marrow bones for 12 years. She never had any dental work done, and her teeth looked great because of scraping on the bones. The only issue I would say with marrow bones is the blood. I used to freeze them and then give them to her but as it thaws, of course the blood will stain the rug or what other material you have on the floor. Just watched the show Dexter and you’ll learn how to get blood out of carpet lol

Ive always put an old throw on over their beds so they can chew on the blanket. Easier to wash. I keep old throws or blankets.

Personally I don't like the plastic bones they usually shred and the dog ends up swallowing pieces. I only use raw marrow bones and a good brand of grass fed bully sticks which he absolutely loves. Beef trachea, dehydrated duck necks are another good option but they don't last as long
