Hi! I live in MA and am looking for reputable breeders of English bulldogs.
Thanks
Laura

Thank you so much..I have tried to find a list on here and I can’t seem to find it.
Hang on someone will guide you. Some are probably on vacation. You’re better off waiting to make sure. šŸ‘

Sadly, we lost all our lists with the app upgrade 😢😢

Start your search with the Bulldog of America club website. There is a great breeder in New Jersey and they might be able to connect you to a breeder in Mass. I’ll DM you the name

I highly recommend going to the Bulldog Club of America site and look at the breeders. My other recommendation is to go to some AKC conformation shows and looking at the dogs and talking with their handlers. That's how I met the breeder of my dogs. A good breeder will ask you questions on your knowledge of the breed, explain the pros and cons & may ask why you want one. Don't be offended. These folks want the best home for their puppies. You'll see at the BCA site those breeders who have had their dogs health tested for the most common traits that can lead to shorter lifespans. Beware of backyard breeders too. If they try to sell you a blue merle (called a 'lilac' by some) or a black one, be aware that these colors are not authorized by the AKC standard. Sure, they can still be registered but these people are promoting a color that goes against the breed standard. One cannot know what other traits are being passed on for the sake of the high prices they charge. I know of one "distributor" that gets its puppies from a mill in Missouri and some of the puppy photos look like they have been bred to Boston Terriers yet they proclaim they are purebred. Sticking with a reputable breeder may save you thousands in vet bills!!
Go to infodog.com and you can look at the upcoming dog shows in your state. After you find one, look at their link for "past entries" to see how many bulldogs were entered in their last show. It pays off to go to a show that has more than 8 or so entered. That gives you an opportunity to talk to several. (Just wait until they are done showing their dogs so as not to distract them. BD's usually show first thing in the morning. You'll know by looking at the 'Judging Program' about a week or two before the show.)

Good luck to you! Mine are wonderful guys! Outgoing, friendly and yes, stubborn! But I wouldn't trade Timmy and Tebow for all the money in the world!
