Yeah, it is no fun! I hope she heals quickly! Be sure to keep that stinkin cone on. I know they hate it but they will hate trying to scratching and ripping out those stitches even more! What a sweet girl she is.

Wilson had this done over three years ago and I remember those stitches and the cone being a pain. But eventually they pulled the stitches out and he never got another ulcer from the eyelashes rubbing against the surface of the eye, again!

It seems like such a long time ago and I didn't even know half the stuff I know now about Bulldogs and just trusted the vets to do right by him. So lucky things came out right. I know it's hard to see but in the long run it will prevent worse problems. Stay strong mama.

I took her stitches out yesterday, she's such a good girl, sleeping now or I would take before and after pics.
