Our bulldog is struggling with eye and yeast issues lately and I think it is time to switch foods. We went from Fromm's to Farmer's Dog and saw an improvement but he has one eye that is getting gunked up constantly and yeast buildup around his nipples. I tried changing the protein in his food, apoquel (upset his belly), cytopoint (wore off too quickly), etc.

We have one local quality pet food store (Bensons) but I am not sure what their raw options are. Any good online options for raw or other alternatives to Farmer's Dog we can try? Making stuff ourselves isn't a great option, so would really like to see what services are out there.

Yes! I think you are moving in the right direction, with Raw. Unfortunately, I am in the U.K. so not much help, I'm sure another member will come along with the info you asked for though.

Canada, can’t help you there but definitely apoquel and cytopoint will bring down any immune system. Why it’s crucial to always feed dogs fermented sauerkraut that in the fridge section. Needs to say fermented and maybe 1 carb. 1 tablespoon mix within meal. There’s also Greek yogurt that holds a LIVE probiotic strain. Look for that one. Must say Live. Same amount to be given.

My 3 yr old bulldog seems to smell like yeast within a couple days of a medicated bath, licking paws frequently. I've tried spraying with Chlorohexidene, good probiotics, Coat Defense, washing feet after walks. He gets a dry food, Open Farm with Ancient Grains. An instructor in a class we attend suggested I try this store. I specifically looked for a "yeast" product. It's pricey but I'm going to try it. https://thenaturaldogstore.com/products/four-leaf-rover-yeast-guard-plus

Thank you. Any other suggestions for online options for raw food delivery or is most of this locally sourced?

After a lot of research I have switched Newman who is 2 1/2 years old over to Evermore it's gently cooked. He wasn't having any problems before, but I wanted something that didn't have synthetic vitamins. Here are the ingredients and he loves it

The one eye gunking up could be an eyelash turning in. My oldest had this issue & a canine ophthalmologist took care of it. If the cornea is constantly scratched, it can cause great damage.
