Hello! I have been feeding Pebbles Zignature Lamb for the last 3 months or so. She loved it and gobbled it down until I got to the bottom of the bag and reordered. For the last month, she has had absolutely no interest in it when I first put it out. She will eventually eat but isnā€™t in the least excited about it and will sometimes be a few hours. If I put some chicken broth or rice in it, she loves it. I thought I might try another protein by Zignature to see if she liked it any better. I wasnā€™t sure if it was considered a transition and I would need to slowly switch or if I could go straight from the lamb to duck or whatever since itā€™s the same brand. Any advice will be appreciated! Also - I am not opposed to trying a different brand if so advised. History: She is 10 months old and started out on Fromm puppy food and loved it! I switched to Bil-Jac at the advice of a friend because of tear stairs - then found this forum and learned Bil-Jac was not considered a quality kibble. So I then transitioned to Zignature. Thanks bulldog lovers!

I put frozen peas in my boys food. They love their veggies. My boy Gabe even likes smashed up frozen broccoli heads. Try that with the same food and see how she reacts. It may break up the monotony. I hope this helps some.

Iā€™ll give that a try! Thank you. Is it ok to use canned green beans as well?

You can switch bags with no transition if youā€™re staying with Zignature. I always rotate the proteins when one bag is done. Only one of my dogs get kibble and she gets Open Farm. Itā€™s good to give a variety. Some days I add a little freeze dried food, sometimes I add a little canned food, etc.

Stay with the same brand like mention just switch to another protein. Rotation is the key to a healthy gut. Add raw organs, heart, tongue etc as a topper 1/4cup on each meal. Loaded of minerals, probiotics n vitamins. Donā€™t forget that 1/2 cup per day is part of his meal. Lower the kibble quantity.
