hi all
my bullie Bear is on zignature kangaroo with grains and he seems to have lost interest in liking it. He's about 9 pounds overweight I found out he has two small tears in both CCL's and I'm wondering if anybody can recommend a single protein food with grains preferably interested in an air dried food or freeze dried not sure if that's a good option or sticking with kibble but a healthy brand any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
thanks much

Have you thought about Raw for Bear? I'm probably not the member to answer the questions, that you have asked. But what I will say, I would never feed Jeffo Kibble no matter what make it was. Maybe another member will come along and give you more info. Raw is the way to go, and Bear will not lose interest in his food(y)

Just add a raw topper on his kibbles. Never forget, there is no dog that won’t eat. Eventually they will. If he gets treats or human food , they will snub their food. What works is raw beef liver. Slice it up, mix a 1/4 cup with the kibbles 2x a day so it gives him 1/2 cup per day. You can also buy beef heart. Slice them up, put 1/2 cup into little ziploc bags and freeze them. Like that it’s on hand all the time.

Winnie is gonna be a year old in just a couple days however I have been feeding her Natures Logic and I switch her proteins with each bag and so far she has been doing wonderfully on this routine. I just make sure I transition her food properly from one protein to another I made sure she got two days of each ratio i.e. 75% old 25% new, 50-50, 25–75 and then 100% new. That’s how we have been doing it.
