Collecting 4 year old EBD at weekend intact have two dachshunds females which are due to be done next month is it worth getting boy booked in, advantages/disadvantages would be great to hear many thanks

Do you know if this EB was used to breed?
How old are the 2 females?
I presume all rescues?

At the end of the day, “IF” they’re rescues, they’ll come with baggages which you won’t know of. Nobody does. If you don’t know, I personally would get all 3 fixed.

No not all rescus , mother and daughter dachunds had mum as puppy and one litter and kept one. Bulldog is a rehome due to ill health never breed from as far as know and i have no interest in breeding from him

Since he is 4 neutering is an option as I don’t think it should be done before age of 2. With females intact it is best to do him to avoid any potential accidental pregnancy

Yes he also likes to try and mount and even on a human leg at times hoping this will end this aswell
