Nails falling off…

Has anyone experienced there bulldogs nails falling off? Mine has lost one, now another is falling off. Anyone know why?

It could be a diet deficiency, or I think there is a kind of lupus that could cause that. If you have a good vet, I would take him.... someone may have thoughts @2BullyMama @oscarmayer

They look a bit long, but I don't think the length would cause the whole shell to rip off like that

I've only ever seen that happen when the nail gets caught or stuck on something and the dog pulls away. I agree with Lynn it could be a nutrient deficiency. What are you currently feeding?
