Thank you Lynn, I did give her a benedryl earlier and they don't seem to have changed at all. I will keep watch on it for another day and then take her in.
It could be a bite from something outside..
Nothing new as far as foods goes unless she got fed something she wasn't supposed to have. I did just finish making the switch of food from Instinct to Fromm beef frittata and that only seems to have been good for her. She itches less and her little red bumps on her face are gone.
If they could only talk and tell us...
The bumps are still there. They still don't seem to be bothering her. However, now she has developed a hot spot on the underside of that same leg and that she is biting at it.
We have an appt tomorrow at our regular vet and I have now got an appt with the bulldog specialist in my area but the first available is Dec 17.
I am using the ointment on her hot spot and continuing with the Benedryl 2x a day.
i am going to see if i can get her allergy tested. In the meantime i am compiling a spreadsheet of the ingredients of the 3 foods she has been on since I've had her and see if I can rule some things out.
I'm thinking it has to be allergies.. i am just suprised the benedryl is not making the bumps go away.

On the flip side, Stella did have her first training class last night and she did great!! She is the best little baby bear in the world!
Update:
So, it is not a hot spot. Just an irritated area where she was itching and biting at it.
We saw the Vet yesterday and she seems to think it is something external. Says she is not convinced its a food allergy.
She gave her a shot of cortisone and advised to stay on the Benedryl.
She also recommended I make an appt with a derm. So I have one at now at the end of December. (first available.. uugghh)
For now I will see if the cortisone helps and keep wiping them with the Duoxo pads.
I did see in one of the many posts i read that someone used a Duoxo bath whenever there were skin issue flareups. I see that there are a few available.
Can anyone recommend which one to use? I'd like to order some right away.
Also, do you use this each time you bathe or just when there appears to be a skin issue?
If it's only for times when there is an issue, are there any recommendations for regular shampoo that won't irritate their skin?
I really need to start making a spreadsheet for what to use on each issue. It's hard to keep them all straight! lol... but i am learning
