I took my almost 7 year old bulldog named Olaf to the vet July 6 for bloody diarrhea and vomiting. They did bloodwork and tested his stool and everything came back normal. They just gave me some medication for his diarrhea and nausea. Took him back to the vet September 12 for vomiting that was happening every other day for one week. They did bloodwork and his liver enzyme count came back extremely elevated! They put him on medication for two weeks and he goes back on the 29th for repeat bloodwork and an ultrasound. They want to check if he has a mass on his liver. He now is getting some type of blisters and redness on his paws. Just wondering has anyone went through something similar? Scared I’m going to receive some bad news on the 29th. I keep googling and reading and I’m having all kinds of mixed feelings. 😞

Blisters and redness on his paws can be digital cyst. Can you post a photo?

Have you looked into Milk Thistle to elevate enzymes? Do talk to your vet about Milk Thistle since he’s on meds. Just a thought 🙂
