Has anyone ever had a bulldog that had corneal cancer? My dog had a small white spot in her a eye a few weeks ago we took her to the vet who thought the cat may have gotten her and put her on antibiotics the bump got bigger for a couple days then slowly went away. Her eyes were slightly goopy yesterday and today so I had left over eye drops and started them back up in case she had some conjunctivitis. I noticed she has a thick pink lesion on the outer corner of her left eye. It’s mostly on the sclera but does move into the edge of the cornea. So of course I start googling and can’t find anything that looks like it until I see a picture of corneal squamous cell carcinoma in a French Bulldog. So now I’m officially freaking out. I will be calling the vet as soon as they open! Advice or thoughts?

Yes, you are doing the right thing by seeing a vet. I took Monty to a pet eye specialist about his eyes. More expensive of course, but very thorough and worth it.

I wouldn't diagnose any eye issue w/out seeing a vet... they have the equipment to examine the eye, and sometimes they will put a stain in there to see if there is a tear. Eye issues can very serious...
