Do you happen to have any pictures of Monty's condition? Curious to see if it looks similar.

Not the best pictures, unfortunately, he wasn't helping! I found another spot. The fur around it comes out in little clumps. I put NuStock on the spot in the first picture and the fur has already grown back, then it came out again right next to it so was thinking about giving him Cephalexin.

Thanks for sharing! Lincoln has a few spots that look similar to that. I am hoping he clears up quick with the meds and baths!

I have the same issue with Bentley. He's actually had this issue for 2 years + now on and off ( he is 3 yrs old). We've tried all of the above and he tends to get slightly better, but then usually around summer he get's it really bad. I'm thinking it's seasonal? We've switched his food, eliminated chicken from his diet, tried medicated baths, antibiotics and till this day we are not 100 % sure what the problem is. I know previously his results were positive for infection, he was treated, but then the patches came back. He was tested again and results were normal.

I will post a picture of his skin later. At this point i'm thinking of just having him tested for allergies because i hate to see all those patches on him :(

If you all have any other suggestions or recommendations i'd appreciate it!

Just a quick update - it's been almost 1 week on Cephalexin and medicated baths 3x a week. I believe he is showing signs of improvement. The spots are shrinking in size and it appears the hair is slowing come back.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, I spoke too soon :( I was hopeful in seeing improvement, but after a full month of antibiotics, medicated baths 2-3x a week (with bleach rinse), he has no improvement. See pictures below.

Back to the drawing board I suppose. I am going to give him some time off from meds for now and then most likely take him to a specialist. Anyone here have any other advice or things I could try? Feeling discouraged :(.

Ouch... what food do you feed brand and protein? Have you thought about going raw or dehydrated raw?

Maybe put coconut oil on Lincoln’s problem areas for several weeks? During the summer, Smash gets similar patches of crusty skin with hair loss, so I use coconut oil before he goes to bed at night.

He might be allergic to the salmon... would you be willing to try duck?
