Thanks LucysMum! Sorry guys I get on here so infrequently anymore! I do see the tags in my email so that prompts me. Dr Clinton was awesome. Chunks eyes have been perfect ever since!!!
cowsmom figured I would update you on this thread since it was my most recent about Chunk, and I was wondering if you could recommend another food for Chunk. We are back to regular food (now I have him on Fromm Salmon Tunalini) and he's on two stool softeners and cisapride (a medication that...
I was thinking that! I have to dig deeper at our next vet visit (tomorrow) and see what her long term plans are. I also have to ask what makes this food "low residue" so I can see what would be similar. They have a canned version of this actual food but I'd prefer not to do that. I would REALLY...
Thanks everyone!
cowsmom He was on Blue Wilderness salmon and then Blue basics Salmon. I was thinking of trying Fromm again since their are more varieties now than when I first tried two years ago. Of course I need to get through this first
I think many of you are correct, this food may be...
Welcome! Well my fur baby was 4 when by skin baby was born, and here we are 16 mos later and they are the best of buds! Chunk LOVES kids and like the others have mentioned, is the best around them! Gentle and sweet. I love it! I agree about the "shark teeth" stage - we had a foster pup over...
As some of you may remember, my poor Chunk had an instance last summer where he was all backed up and we thought he may have had mega colon. He was slightly sedated, given an enema and closely watched for the next few weeks. This of course happened the day before we moved into our first home and...
AdventuresWithOliver - if you need to find Fromm locally, they have it at Rogers in Brick. I'm not really a fan of that store since dogs are not allowed in. Stupid! And they aren't always the friendliest. But if you try it and it works you could always order from petflow.com for the future! I'm...
Ok you all made me feel SO much better. I did google it and it seems the imported ones are more the problem! Wish I lived in a climate where we could grow them; they are an absolute staple in my house!

Clayton (14 month old skin child for those who don't know) was eating avocado today and decided to share with Chunk like he does all his food. Thankfully I caught it before Chunk got it but I was wondering at what point should I freak out? It was a little piece, no bigger than about a teaspoon...
@amtat Sounds like fostering is a great way for you to start! The rescue I've worked with matches you up to a pooch (I.e. one that is good with kids, other pets if you have them), you can then see how it works with your family dynamic. Just because its a puppy doesn't mean it will be good with...
1-1:30pm if we make it. I'll be the one dragging a stroller and bully tongue. Lol. I'm guessing my stepdaughter won't join me on this one since she's going to a concert the night before and not sure about my husband.
What's the area like there? Think I'll be ok with the stroller? It's not sand...
Breakfast, yes since we have limited time in the morning. When I come home at lunch time I just let him out (usually I eat in the car or at my desk at work), and as for dinner he must wait. He's learned to be a good boy and play with his toys.

Well we could exchange numbers ... I'm going to try to get more info on the venue at Moorestown so maybe we could have an idea of where to meet. I won't know for sure if I am going until later in the week. Also facebook is a great idea because then you have an idea of what the bully's people...
Here are the very few I took from kiddie jail ...
Chunk and NJBullyMommy & her Brutus who I just love!!!
Lilly trying to get to Clayton through the jail fence (she's a friend of a friend, not an EBNer but I've been seeing pics of her since she was a pup and FINALLY got to meet her. She's...
Wellll this one is far for us and I have a general policy against doing anything that requires a lot of driving on Sundays .... But I'm going to try to make it. I've fostered through HSBR so I would like to get to meet more of the peeps!
