My wife and I are totally devastated. 2022 is another bad year. Last week, my wife lost her brother to what the ME said congestive heart failure. He was 68 years old. Today, we lost our Jewelie Girl. She turned nine years old last week.
Yesterday, my girl was in my face...the look...Daddy I...
Jewel turned nine on 4/27.
Health wise...heart murmur and is now on cardiac meds for PVCs. She also has a tumor on her aorta. We will be seeing Internal Medicine vet next week.
It is always something with my little girl.
We hope all of EBN folks are doing well.
On Friday 1/21/22, Jewel just did not eat. When she laid down, she was in the the sitting position (keeping her head above the level of her body). She looked at me all the time as I was watching the TV and her was a look of "Daddy, I don't feel good or I have to go potty." I took her outside...
Ok, so I'm being cynical. Georgia has its work cut out for them. Jewel is friends with Uga so you know who she is for. I'm rooting for the underdog (no pun intended).
We just received a pillow with a picture of our Bentley. My wife was overwhelmed with tears and said to thank the EBN family. The gift was extremely thoughtful and we thank you.
It is with heavy heart to inform the forum that we lost Bentley to his illness today. We will miss him immensely as he was a ball junkie and loved to play as well as being a great watch dog Bentley was 8 years old and had lymphoma.
Christmas cards were sent already with his picture included...
Bentley made it to his birthday on 10/26 and is now 8 yrs. old. He is still doing well on his prednisone and is surprising the vet on his two-week quality of life checks. He has gained weight a little and is portly like his dad.
The house is almost finished and we hope to start moving back...
Sorry for being MIA. We have been going through a lot physically and mentally.
Bentley as you know from an earlier post has round cell lymphoma. The weekend after the aforementioned post, Bentley developed more nodules all over his body. We took him to the vet and bluntly stated, "he has...
Jewel was panting heavily off and on yesterday afternoon. My wife took her to the pet ER and after tests, she was bleeding into her gut from a nodule on her spleen. They operated and removed her spleen. As of 0700 this morning, Jewel is resting comfortably and may come home tomorrow.
If...
While you are enjoying meals with loved ones, please take a moment to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and our liberty. Also, to our current service member and veterans. Happy Veterans Day
Jewel had ear canals surgery yesterday. She is still at the vet for pain management. She might come home tomorrow but maybe held to Sunday. Thank God for my 401k.
Her surgeon said it was the worst case he has seen in his years of practice.. So the ear canals were removed. According to the...
