Oh girl, I always had these mad, crazy slug skills. I live in Western WA. If I didn't, I wouldn't have a garden at all....they'd devour it!

Dude...I just came in. Today's haul was unprecedented so far for Spring 2012. Either that, or I'm getting MUCH better at spotting them. I picked up at least five this morning that were no bigger than the head of an old fashioned hat pin. TEENY BASTARDS! They can do damage too. I pulled some Rudebecka up and potted them in 4" pots to give to my neighbor later and there was one tiny pinhead slug raising hell in there. I thought, why does that plant look awful and all these others look great? Doink. Today's total was easily 17 slugs of varying sizes. I'M GAINING ON THEM!!!!!

I am so regretting the decision. I do have more time, and the shifts that I do get are much better paid, but they are not calling me as much as I'd like. I am getting certified in ACLS so I can start doing Labor and Delivery again and hopefully get more shifts. Two shifts a week in this float pool job equal 4 shifts of my old nursery job but I miss it a lot though

It's pretty precious if I do say so myself.
They were laying at my feet in the kitchen next to the computer so I grabbed my phone real quick. I was so careful not to wake them both before I could take the pic. I entered it in this month's Zonked Out photo contest.
