  • hi dave.....hope this is going in the correct area, i am still learning my way around here :) they sure do look alike .....aren't we just the luckiest ! Forde will be 4 years old on June 2nd...and weighs about 70lbs.......how old is Rocky?
Yes yes she never would look at anyone. I always felt so bad for her. I can remember once telling the kids to leave her alone and pick on someone else (or something like that.

I talked to my sister Debbie and she said that she thinks she knows who you are, your named sounded really familar to her. But get this........she and Becky were friends and played together. I asked her where Becky lived and it's right where you said. lol. This is just wildly wicked and so much fun to relate like this. Totally awesome!

I still have some answers to your question that I owe you but I'm short on time and will be over the next few days, thanks to Sally and my other Hooligans.
Her name was Robin. I think because she was quite poor, not sure??? She sat my herself all the time during recess. I've always had her image with me all these years.
I'll ask my sister too. What's your last name? PM if you don't want to put it out here and I'll ask her.
Ok Dave, here's a short quiz for you since you're so great with names. I don't recall James or Rodney. I'm just horrible with names overall and have menatally turned a lot of them out. Do you recall a girl that used to sit by herself in front of one of the classrooms on the office side. They kids, not me, used to tease her all the time. What was her name? I do know it, lol.
The boy that lived next door to me (the house that we shared lawns), his name was victor and he was 2 years older than me. He picked on my sister one day and I kicked his *** right on his front lawn, LOL. My sister's name is Debbie and she was born in 64. You two may have been in the same class. Wonder if there's a yearbook around on Classmates?
Morning Dave, Hey I ran out time last night and had to do some EBN stuff, lol. I'll get back to you a bit later today. I don't think I have any childhood pics though that I can recall. I'll check though. It's pretty cool though that we lived houses away, remember some of the same thing (neighbors, friends, Santa Sled) though. I've never met anyone years later before like I said that lived that close to me at the same time and went to the same school. Let alone elementary school and Oxnard! Oh and bowled at the base. Definitely goose bumpy like Becky said. :D
Manuel lived on the same street as me but up closer to you. Gretchen lived a bit further off of Teakwood, can't recall the street name. We were besties her and I. And well, Manuel, I wubbed him, LOL. He was my first crush I believe.
What a small freckin' world huh? This has been a great day! I learned to water ski at Casitas. I recall the K-Mart too. K-Mart was big back then, lol.
Yes they were very nice people. I remember playing at there house with their girls often. They were so nice to me. But like you said due to the time, it was quite frowned upon. I just never forgot them.

Yes our St. Bernard's name was Love. An elderly couple from another block over gave her to my Mom as my Mom loved her and they were just too old for her. Loved that dog.
You are very welcome, that's what we are here for, to help each other and help the bullies.
I don't remember the mini bike. You have an impeccable memory though. I'm thinking the old lady that sold her goodies didn't come your way then. You'd remember if she had. The Christmas Sled was the best and passed right in front of our house. We had a St. Bernard at the time too. I played in your area all the time, that's where most my friends were. Do you recall an interracial couple? They lived near you.

I've never met anyone that lived where I did at that age. It's pretty neat for sure!!
