I just checked and to be honest I'm not sure what I'm looking for? She has a straight tail thats about 2 inches long. I put a paper towel under and rubbed at the base.... nothing alarming on the paper towel but I can't see anything because her tail doesn't lift.

I actually use to be a dog groomer so I did check this- she has a tail that completely hides them but I did check and they were not swollen. And there was nothing to express.

I've been giving her 25mg Benadryls because I only have capsule kinds... so I didn't want to give 2 25mg as she is only 43 pounds. The hives haven't gone away yet the seem to have spread if anything. Should I give her 50 mg? She's inching like crazy

My 1.5 year old EB millie appears to have hives. There are small bumps on her sides and on her belly. There hasn't been any change in food (Merrick Before Grain) and I haven't washed her/her bedding in about a week. Are hives in dogs just caused by plants and things or is it something bigger...

This doesn't look like mange to me... my bullie had mange at 6 months and the spots didn't look as irritated or red as this. The only way to know is a skin scrape but I'd be pretty surprised if a vet did a scrape with only 1 questionable spot.
