Try some vegetable or chicken broth.. warm it up and put it on his food.. perhaps that may entice him a little.. And BRAVO to you for converting him from table scraps to a healthy diet!! GREAT JOB!!

May I suggest having the car off in the driveway or garage with the doors open.. and allow him to go in and out at his leisure. Maybe put a couple of his toys in the car or some treats?
