Before the surgery TBone's eyes looked very bad and some days it did look like they were bleeding or about to burst. Very frightening to look at, but they never bothered him. We were able to wait until we saved enough money and he was old enough to be neutered.

When we first got TBone I took him out hourly....when he did his business outside, once inside he received a treat and praise. It has been almost 2 months now and he will sit by the door when he needs to go out. We still give him a treat but now it is just a piece of kibble and praise...
My 4 month old puppy is going through the same thing...but in both eyes. Our vet and surgeon are in agreement with yours....wait a few more months so that we could get him neutered at the same time. The hardest part really is that he looks so sad and people ask weird questions.

From the photo, it looks like Mooney may have the start of cherry eye, but if the glands were truly removed, I don't think that is possible. Can you get the surgical records from the breeder to show your vet so she can make an accurate diagnosis? Regardless of your breeder's position on the...
