Yes Iāve already noticed his stamina is up, heās been hopping around like a crazy boy tonight, heās played with his toys like never before! So lovely, it feels like we can enjoy having him now with no worries. We will definitely be careful with him overheating, thank you! :)
Hi guys,
So Iāve posted on here before about my EB Bear due to have his BOAS surgery.
Well long story short he had it! Weāre now 2 weeks post op and heās recovering so well!š I canāt believe how well heās recovering and how quickly aswell.
I actually just wanted to do a little post about the...
Thanks so much everyone for the AMAZING advice! You have all really calmed my nerves. Bear is booked in on 4th January for his BOAS surgery. Wish him luckš¬š¤š½
Hi thanks so much for the advice! This reply has been really helpful š Bear is currently on wet food would that be ok to give? Bear has never been kennel/crate trained š we have a decent size kitchen but due to the layout of it we couldnāt have a crate in there. Bear has always just slept in his...
Hi thanks so much for the advice! I see youāre from the UK aswell so assuming you have heard of forthglade? Itās wet food which Bear is currently on (we used to feed him raw however Bear suffers with allergies and a sensitive stomach since being on this food itās made a huge improvement!) do you...
Weāre definitely going to struggle keeping this crazy boy calm, heās a nutter!!𤣠the vet did say to us that if he does well then they will try and send him home the same day aswell - Bear is a very excitable dog so sheās worried that if he goes too long without seeing us then itās going to be a...
The vet hospital is open 24/7 that was one thing I made sure of, would definitely feel better if he stayed in over night at least if anything was to happen he would be in the right hands. Aww Iām so glad it was successful for Castor and made a big difference! Really nice to hear success stories š
Ahh yes I did see about putting him on soft food after! Heās not that much of a vocal dog unless heās after attention so I guess it will be constant attention on him for the days after which Iām sure would be the case anyway lol. Thank you :)
Yeah I agree itās important for him to have it heās such an energetic boy and doesnāt know when to stop, Iām really hoping after this surgery he can enjoy walks and playing with other dogs without exhausting himself. Thank you for the advice :)
