Took Maximus to the vet last week and he has an ear infection. That explains the equilibrium being off... he's on medication now and feeling much better. 10 drops to each ear which is almost impossible with Max! Thanks for all the replies. Maybe this can help someone else with the same problem.
Thanks for the reply. Max is doing better this afternoon but still a bit foggy. He knows me, knows his name when called, is eating and can shake hands, sit, all on command. So, if he was completely out of it, he'd certainly be at the ER... but i did call my vet and he wants to run tests...

Hi there. Thanks for the response. Good to know we're not alone with our problem. Maybe Max and Pearl can get together and let us know what's going on! ha. Hopefully some experienced bulldog parents can assist with this problem. It's strange because of the poop and potty.. like they are...
Hi. Thanks for the reply. He's been going to doggie day for about 6 months.. just once a week. So, i'm thinking that or the weather..... guess i could try not taking him for a few weeks and see if it helps.. but, he loves the play time and seems to get bored when we're not home. Maybe...
