Congratulations!!! We are from Wisconsin & know exactly what you are talking about...especially this past week ;). I would suggest a good daycare. We never thought we would never be one of 'those people' who take their dog to daycare but we are ;) and honestly they have been a godsend...

Many of our schools are closed today & tomorrow as well. -17 this morning & wind chills were anywhere from -25 to -35....Tuesday our high is....hold on...0 with wind chill about -25 ;). Guinness is out & in the quickest we have seen from him yet! And he has learned is he snuggles himself...

Try a laser to chase...be careful w the amount of time though since she's still little. We also tied a jolly ball from a branch on our tree and Guiness loves to get it by jumping...our favorite is when he gets it and makes his ewok sounds because he won't let it go. We love the treat ball as...

Guinness loves the laser as well...the boys set up a bean bag and he chases the laser around & ends up doing superman across the floor to get the laser on the bean bag....we do this a lot in the summer when it's too hot to go out & he needs to get his yayas out :). We also have a ball tied on a...

Guinness does this as well...he has been a bit more of a shadow lately...we live in Wisconsin as well and have been dealing with the horrendous weather. I think he is getting stir crazy...poor guy! And next week all head back to school :(

Guinness had one & we just had it done when he was neutered. Our breeder said she had it done but our vet didn't think so and went ahead and fixed it while doing the neuter so he didn't have to go under again. From what I remember I didn't have a heart attack when they told me the cost.

We usually do an extra day of daycare (they have air conditioning and play inside on these hot days) and the boys wear Guinness out inside with a laser pointer, the steps, and a bean bag..I will try to post a video of it tomorrow :) Walks are early and short or late and short. ANd same days...

I tried these with Guinness a little while back and I was grossed out by the gooey mess plus I was afraid he would break it. I read it was ok if they ingested it but didn't want to risk it...the only thing he chews that doesn't turn me into a paranoid freak are the antlers.... KarenP I would...
