Yep BCA was where we started...we have our eye on 4 liters now...still researching pedigrees and breeders and will be going to our first show in a few weeks...so excited!!!
So now that I have fallen totally in love with the EBD breed, and have always been interested in the show ring, my friend (who also has a pet EBD) and I are starting our research and search of our first show prospect...boy am I overwhelmed at all the info I've ingested in the last couple weeks...
So Dozer is looking a lot better on TOTW (although he doesn't seem that crazy about it), some Alaskan Salmon oil added to his food in the mornings, Benadryl twice a day and his eye ointment...whewww...but my question is his chin and mouth..which is red and bumpy...I've done some reading on dog...
So these are my two choices that I can get locally. We started on TOTW which he is doing good on..his skin is clearing up and his coat is coming back in in spots...his chin is still pretty red but I'm dealing with that in another thread. So my issue is that he doesn't seem all that crazy about...
He's been on TOTW for about 9 days. They guy we got him from said he was on Royal Canin but I don't think he was as he had none to give us when we left and mentioned something about getting it at Food Lion :( but anyway....I guess its a waiting game to see now huh :) He doesn't scratch at all...
Ok so I put up some new pics in his album. His skin is better even though still thin. The redness on his face has significantly calmed down and only gets pink when he gets excited or hot. Except under his mouth. You can see in the pics that this is still pretty red. Wondering if anyone had...

Bless you all for your words of comfort. It is so hard to make the decision. She got up this morning a little better and although I had to carry her down our deck steps she is moving around a bit easier today. I am just taking it day by day (sometimes hour by hour) I am loving on her and...
I put Doz on TOTW. He seems to like it just fine except for in the mornings when I add salmon oil but he eventually gives in and eats it :) I also give him 2 Benadryl a day to help with the initial problem. He is starting to look better. Even his cherry eyes isn't quite so red. The vet did a...
Our boxer Lady is 11.5. Her health has begun to decline quickly. After multiple tests, xrays, blood work they have ruled out spreading to the chest area of her mammory tumor and kidney failure. Her rear end has literally given out on her and she is struggling just to get up and walk. She...
So our first week with Dozer has gone well. He has adjusted to our home beautifully and is a constant joy. His skin is starting to look a little better. He is doing well on TOTW but when I add the salmon oil to it in the morning he sticks his nose up a bit but will eventually eat it. His...
Greetings all from VA! This is our first EBD...we have had boxers before. We "took in" a boy who is a year and a half on Tues. He was not in a great situation and wasn't getting proper care so we may have a slightly rough road ahead of us. But we have fallen quickly in love with him. His...
