i purchased one and i have not used it as i'm not comfortable that i know how to properly use it! i am reading up on it and have contacted a behaviourlist to help me. i wouldnt go out and start just using a tool before i now the risks and how to properly use it...all i did was place it on him...

for shock collar therapy do i just wait for behaviour or try to encourage it to correct it? im so nervous to use it (i bought one after work) it says i need to shock to find appropriate level im scared...she also warned me it could cause aggression to worsen when shocked...anyone have...

hmm he was on it for 3 weeks and we went back to vets and he said if i didnt see any improvement to stop?....now im wondering if i should have continued for longer? maybe ill call the vets and see what they think (i have a new vet at same office)

yes i get his shots as soon as they are due. so rabies and distemper a few weeks ago

they did his blood i thought thyroid and it came back clean....they prescribed an anti anxiety med bc that was my second thinking and they did nothing so i took him off i dont want him on drugs he doesnt need! was curious iof any one can think of other medical issues that can cause aggression...

he is allowed on furniture when im not home but not when i am...is this enough? or should it be no not at all? and how do you ensure this while im away?
