I am in my 50s and just purchased my first house so that my husband could get the bulldog he has always wanted. We wound up getting two because we sort of rescued one from a family who couldn't keep their puppy. I am a veteran having served 7 years in the US Army. My husband is originally from Colombia, but was educated behind the Iron Curtain in the Soviet Union. He has a zillion stories.
