To those of you who replied you were right it's demodex. So Ronnie had his first bath at the vets because the shampoo can be poisonous and they have the medicine to reverse it. From now on 1 bath a week in the shampoo. I d aren't do it myself incase he becomes ill I would never forgive myself
I watched a documentary about dogs who can sense cancer and epileptic fits it was amazing how these animals are so clever. My son has had tonsilitus 9 times this year and the good old nhs won't take them out and even our private care won't as it's an ongoing condition he's had all his life...
My son vinnie suffers with tonsilitus and this specific time he was extremely bad. Ronnie stood over him for over half an hour, at first I was a bit worried thinking it could be the dominating thing but as I watched he just kept sniffing him and licking. Vin didn't seemed to mind, especially...
No diagnosis as of yet still got to wait on skin scrape tests, Ronnie won't get to see the dermy till October 25th. I've been feeding him natural yogurt today only one tbl spoon hope that helps a bit with the good ones
First of all rjisaterp thank you so much for your concern and yes we have a result and are moving on.... Ronnie had skin tests today so don't get results for another 10 days, he's also been referred to a derma-logical vet. Came back with microbex shampoo, clx wipes, sancerum for his ears...
Got new shampoo for his skin so he gets to be bathed twice a week for now. First time in the bath it's usually the groomers. Now weighing in at 63.9lbs at 11 months
Chumly totally agree on this! I have a 4 and 6 year old and Ronnie is amazing with them both. He's also a fantastic guard dog at night when my husbands offshore away. They have great characteristics and to be fair Ron would hurt a fly. He's my gentle teddy bear!
It's dry and itchy for him, we have another appointment at a different vets. So time to get my big baby fixed bullmama he's 11 months old. I'm started to think it could be a mix of things it's breaking my heart
