We have a leash....Lucy never pulls and it's not super tight...didnt even know about the leash issue though.

I just use my finger on the outer edges during baths..works well and no probs here..ive done it with al my dogs.

We got Lucy from Cajun Dixieland Kennel in Louisiana. I saw her on their site, and wanted her instantly. Took some convincing of my hubby(he still maintains that she is ugly lol). She is such a good dog(except when she raids the trash!)

We are not in a good area for walkin(major highway) but I have made a trolley system thingy outside and she is able to run on that for a bit(I usually do about 20mins..let her do her business and get some excercise then she comes on in).

I think she looks great too...Im not sure there is much of a lanky stage with bulldogs lol....certainly not like with my American bullies lol!~
