I have been a little MIA the past year; school has been kicking my butt. Here are some Murphy updates:

I am amazed with how long Murphy can go without going outside. For example, at night usually we get him to go at around 9 30pm and then shortly after we go to bed. In the morning, he is in no hurry to go outside! Sometimes he won't go till 8am or so-- almost 12 hours without going!! It seems...

When Murphy was a puppy (second day we had him), we didn't know any better and got him some of those long rawhides and almost had a heart attack when he swallowed the whole thing! Fortunately, he was okay. Nowadays his favorite thing to swallow are those squeakers in toys. Those are like gold...

My bully Murphy had the same thing going on but just on one side. It was a spot where he had hair missing and it looked like the skin was black. When I asked the vet about it, he kinda just brushed it off. When we switched his food, it started growing back right away. It looks 100% better now!

Our last apartment was all carpet and we ended up paying a fee for the dog smell when we moved out. We are currently building a house and we made sure to get all hardwood to help with the smell. I'm weird though, I love Murphy's stinkyness!

Now THAT was a good one... chocolate diamonds... I'm laughing out loud out here. Glad no one can see me! :lol::whew:

These stories are so funny! I mean, I didn't really find my situation funny at the time, but like I told my husband, one day we're going to pass those rings down and we are always going to remember this story behind them. But I am definitely going to be more careful about what I leave lying...

I fell asleep on the couch this morning after taking him out and at some point I took off my weddings rings and set them on the ottoman. When I went to get them later, guess what? They were gone! My husband said he remembered hearing Murphy chewing on something but then stopped so he didn't...

As soon as I saw this I was going to say the same thing others before me have said. I really do think it's the way Bulldogs look that freak out other dogs at times. Murphy used to be just as bad. I remember starting a thread on here when Murph was 8 months old asking for help because I had no experience whatsoever with English Bulldogs and I thought mine was the only naughty one. My husband and I are starting to realize that they are all about the same :D...
