Thank you for the insight! I started him on The Honest Kitchen which he’s been eating for a few weeks now. He seems to really love it. His coat and skin both seem to have improved. Not sure if it’s the food but either way I feel more confident about meal time for him.

We've decided to try THK and will be rotating every month as recommended. I found a cool dog store near my home that sells frozen raw marrow bones. Thank you all for the free advice lol

I switched him over to salmon & trout based kibble and his allergies and skin have improved tremendously. I think the ingredients in the royal canine mainly chicken kinda scarred me a bit on the common meats. However I may just need to educate myself more.

I've been thinking about switching Kash to raw feeding. I've been looking around here and seen a few recommendations. Is there a list with recommended online raw feed companies? If not I'll tell you exactly what we are looking for: Already mixed Grain Free No chicken or beef; mainly seafood...

A little update. His skin and coat both seem to be improving. Not sure if its the food or cutting back on the bathing. Either way we are going to stick with this new routine. The only complaint I have is the smell of the new food 😷 But thats easy to overlook for the health of my little guy lol

All good tips. Thank you. I’m going to tone down the bathing. I just got some Zignature salmon and trout little bites. We’ll see how that goes. He does have an appointment for the vet for his skin. I think Im also a bit overly concerned. I just want to make sure I’m giving him the best life...
