So turns out Porky has canine herpes virus, which is why the treatment wasn’t helping.... now a different path of treatment and hopefully the virus will go dormant

Correct. Not curable, manageable, but also apparently quite difficult to manage in certain situations. I was assured by my general vet and the specialist that it cannot pass between species and I do not have other dogs so we are safe.

we are working with the ophthalmologist..... slowly looking a little better in the eye, but the drops required may be causing other issues.... so it’s a process. We go back next week to see what next steps are...
