It was not easy but I’ll be okay in a while. He was a dear friend and companion.

He went peacefully while sleeping with me next to him after some brief distress. Thank you all for the wishes.

He had a little conjunctivitis in his eyes and the vet gave me drops and it cleared that up. Didn’t help his vision. - - - Updated - - - Just drops for goo in his eyes but it’s cleared that up.

7 years old. His vision is not too good. He navigates fine but I can tell he can’t see well.

His latest maneuver is he comes over and throws himself down to get his tummy rubbed. poor old guy is losing his vision.
