Today just when I thought things were looking up, she peed on my floor while I was in the next room. She spends the entire week ringing her bell incessantly when she doesn't have to go then decides to pee on the floor while I'm home instead of telling me she needs to go out. It's like she is...
Agnes is one year and eight months old and suddenly in the last two weeks, my good girl has turned into a monster! I'm wondering if this is the dog adolescence period I've read about. Suddenly she's mouthy again, she's chewed 2 sandals, and she's constantly ringing her bell to go out when she...
I have actually been thinking of getting a platform style bed for this reason. They seem to sit much lower to the ground than traditional styles and look very modern!
I moved a few months ago and Agnes wasn't panting but it DID take her a good week to settle down and feel comfortable in our new place. She acted timid and skittish in a way that I'd never seen before but she just needed time and some extra exercise and she got back to her old self.
They are only on her face and chin. I'll be more careful with wiping her face after she drinks. We use a stainless water bowl. I'll look online for duoxo pads too. Thanks. If these things don't clear it up, we'll maybe look into switching foods.
in the last week, Agnes seems to have developed little red sores in some of her face wrinkles. Has anyone experienced this? Or have a remedy? We've never had allergy problems before. We haven't changed foods (Fromm classic adult). I don't know what has caused these. Do I just need to clean...
I thought I would lose my mind before shark phase ended but Agnes and I hit our stride around 6 months when she started getting over all the constant biting. She's by my side every moment now and -usually- much more gentle with her sister the cat. The cat even tolerates her company for a few...
You could try the bell training. I trained Agnes to ring a bell when she needs to go out. She will occasionally get out of bed (where she sleeps with me) in the middle of the night and ring her Bell even if I've taken her out at 10pm. Of course it's annoying to get up and let her out at 4 am...
Agnes's incision didn't get red or swollen after her spay. I would have your vet check her out based on your pic! Hope all is well with your little girl!
Agnes has half brindle, half white face. We haven't had any tear stain issues yet at one year. I feed her fromm family adult kibble in the purple bag. She does have moisture under her eyes sometimes, especially after sleeping but hasn't had the dark stains.

I thought this was so great - and the boy in the video looks just like my girl Agnes! :-)
I thought I wasnt gonna make it thru the shark-biting phase with Agnes but everyone assured me it would pass. It did -mostly. She's one year old. Once in a while she still gets mouthy with me but it's NOTHING compared to what it used to be.
Agnes gets head tremors once in a while. They have become more infrequent lately. She tends to get them either when she is very tired or when she is already sleeping. I usually say her name and wake her up for a second to snap her out of it. The first time it happened i was terrified but then...
