I wish I came across this earlier. It looks like you already got the tick out and are just concerned about the head still being in there. I don't think the head will be an issue at all.
I read all the other posts about alcohol, dish soap, tweezers, etc. Putting anything on the tick or...
I'm with you on that one. I don't think I would be able to control myself.
I read a few variations on the story and I don't think he was legitimately scared of this puppy. If he was he wouldn't have picked up his dogs, walked into the house and come back out with a pistol. If I were scared for...
I just can't believe this story. I don't know what I would do. Has anybody else heard about this?

Enzo is doing great. His penis is a little stubbier now but other than that there is no sign he even had surgery yesterday. It's going to be a task getting his brother to understand no roughhousing. For anyone interested the total cost was less than $500. That included a heartworm test and...
Well, he's been dropped off now. I asked to talk to the vet before the surgery. It's a busy day for him so after a 30 minute wait we talked quickly but in detail about what was to be done. I know I am not going to be 100% accurate on this but basically what he said is he tucks the prolapse back...
Thanks Texas Carol !
I didn't realize that was how you lost Brutus. I am so sorry, that must have been a tremendous shock. I can't even imagine... Have you posted pictures of Cami yet? I need to do a little looking around. :)
I am a little nervous tonight but I have confidence in the vet. I...
Thanks! :) I will post here as soon as I find out how things went.
It bothers me the way surgery appointments are done with pets. I just drop him off in the AM and leave. They will perform the surgery and call me when it's time to come get him. It's too detached for me. I know the concern is...
We went back and forth over getting the neutering done at the same time and only having him put under once. We, my wife and I, decided to wait a few months to get them neutered. I personally believe the benefits outweigh the risks. I know there is a huge debate over when is best to have a dog...
Have you had him checked for Lyme disease? I know this might be far fetched and it usually effects the rear legs from what I've read but Giuseppe started limping and after many x-rays and different noninflammatory meds, they blamed it on the breed and his weight. A few months later we had him...
From what I read on this site and elsewhere, it's only a small percentage of bulldogs that are sensitive to chicken. For the dogs that don't tolerate chicken well, I don't believe they react the same to real cooked/boiled chicken. Hugo will be fine.
I'm not even 100% sure Apollo is allergic...
If I remember correctly, you said you brought Brutus in for emergency surgery and had the neuter done at the same time. I thought that was why it was so expensive. I can't see it being $3300.00 at his own vet. I hope my vet doesn't try to charge me that much for a scheduled surgery. I will let...
Great pictures and I love the video and that tongue! It's huge! :) She seems to be quite the character. :2thumbs:
I still haven't figured out how to find picture posts. I tried by looking at a person's profile but it doesn't always show their pics.
