    Ulcer in Eye?

Thanks. I did need a drink for sure! It's been a week on the new drops. He isn't rolling his eye in as much now but I still see the ulcer on his eyeball. It looks almost like a cataract. I'm really scared he's going to lose that eye. He goes back for a recheck (with the new vet) tomorrow. Keep...

    Ulcer in Eye?

I was so angry that he let my guy suffer a whole week of trauma to that eye, not to mention the anxiety he goes through every 2-3 hours when we administer the eye goop. Very negligent, I completely agree. That's awful and I'm scared to death of Diesel having to have surgery. We went to the...

    Ulcer in Eye?

Well we will be switching vets. Went back for the recheck only to have the doc administer the same eye goop we've been giving Diesel for a week. Asked him how long we should expect this to take before it clears up and he said, and I quote "Well it's not going to until he has surgery to repair...

    Ulcer in Eye?

Thanks. Got him a recheck appointment with this vet for this afternoon. If I feel put off or like he's not being thorough we will look for another vet. Thank you!

    Ulcer in Eye?

Our vet recently diagnosed Diesel with an eye ulcer. I've never heard of this. Doc says it is below Diesels eye on his lower lid, but above his cheek. I can see the swelling just below his eye socket. He can't hold his eye open and his eye looks red and hazy. Doc put him on eye drops and Amox...

    Just dropped off Tyson

So glad to see your update! I got worried for a minute when you didn't post but I know you were watching your guy as any worried Momma would. Judging from the pictures he's getting better day by day. I'll keep sending healing thoughts to your sweet boy. Hang in there, the weekend is coming and...

    Just dropped off Tyson

Glad he did well over night. Hope you get some rest very soon. How awful that the sock had already adhered to his tummy! Ouch!! No wonder he wasn't feeling good!! Hopefully you are over the scary stuff and snuggles and rest will have your boy back to 100% in no time! *hugs* for you!!

What happens when you chase down the maintenance guy..

They're adorable! Like they know they're in time-out. I can't help but giggle at the mental image of the whole scene but I know it wasn't funny at the time (**tee hee**)

Daily poll: Does your bully(s) have a favorite toy?

Diesel has this brown teething bone thing. That bone could be at the bottom of the toy bucket and he will pull every toy out until he gets to that bone.

    Coconut oil

We started using CO with Diesel about 2 weeks ago and already he seems less itchy and has less of that bulldog smell. He loves it! We give it to him right off the spoon about 3 times a week.

General Question Minor Limp in front leg ( only after awakening)

My Diesel pup (6 months old) will do this as well. We just figured his leg fell asleep while he was sleeping and he's walking it off. He is fine after a couple of minutes and hasn't slowed down at all.
