As promised, sash is home, new pics attached.

She hasn’t been sick anymore since feeding the raw diet :) she is pooping less, definitely more active and playful, I’m not sure if it’s just because she is settling in more .. but overall she is sleeping a lot better too. I couldn’t bare sleeping when I was on constant alert of her maybe...

Just a quick update to everyone. I have thawed the proraw dog food I had purchased and gave her 40g to eat before bed. She was sniffing at first and wasn’t as keen as kibble, as when she has kibble she can’t help but absolutely demolish it šŸ˜…she did eat the raw food and I’ve just crated her away...

I do. It’s in the freezer right now. I’ll go and grab some to defrost and see if she can manage to eat any of that. It would be a shame of having to throw away $100 bag of the Orijen food if that’s the case. The breeder still has a couple pups left, and I contacted him earlier and they’re both...

As promised, sash is home, new pics attached.

It’s possible I’m over feeding but I’m only giving less than a hand full of kibble each time. I’ll weigh out the next portion to be 1/4 cup precisely. It’s 10pm here now an all the pet stores are closed. I’m worried about not feeding her and I’m also worried about feeding her more Orijen food...

Welp.. She has just been sick again, I have taken a picture of it this time, if anyone would like to see. I would not like to post that publicly.

She basically threw up, what I assume was her entire previous meal, it was around golf-ball sized vomit.

I've been feeding her 3 times a day, when I wake up, around 9am.. again around 1pm, and 6pm. I'll try feeding her a snack before bed, as the dry heaving always seems to be when she hasn't had a meal for too long. How many grams of food would you feed an 8 week old puppy? I'm unsure if I've...

As promised, sash is home, new pics attached.

Thanks for your advice everyone, she has settled in very well, and has stopped the high-pitched yelling. However, she did wake me up around 4am with some dry-heaving. From what I can research, this is likely due to acid building up for having too long between meals, so that's something I'll...

Thanks everyone, she has been on-and-off crying in her crate, I've slowly eased her into it, she's currently fast asleep after tuckering herself out crying a bit. I'll see how she does tonight, it's currently 00:50am. She has puppy pads and enough room to go for a wee in her crate, I've set an...

Getting my new pup on Friday! First time owner

You're completely right! I forgot to order it, and have now ordered it. Just need some training treats now, that's what I was actually trying to post about when I got distracted! I have a lot going through my mind at the moment trying to get everything prepared. Picking her up in less than 24...

I bought some Orijen kibble, which seems to be a good quality brand based on some posts here. I'm also looking into a raw diet at the moment, but haven't been able to source a good supplier yet. I'll be going to the pet store on Saturday and see what they've got!

Thanks so much for all the info, it's so greatly appreciated. You guys here have given me SO much advice already. At the moment, I'm not sure what she weighs, but I get to pick her up Friday - so I'll find out as soon as I can. Yeah, I don't want an unhealthy dog, it's not fair, the dog...

Getting my new pup on Friday! First time owner

This is exactly what I was thinking, I have read a lot about the fee's involved with vets, and overall it is probably actually just cheaper to pay for the "good" food, and skip a lot of health issues, than having to pay so many vet bills with the cheaper stuff. Also, puppy would be healthier...
