I have a 6 month old puppy Chevy and he is the same way I just fill up his water bowl half way and let him drink it all but I offer him his water bowl only filled half full several yes a day but keep in mind Chevy's water bowl is not a giant bowl either its actually a med small sized metal bowl...

The pillow he used to sleep on is now only big enough for his butt lol He has gotten so big it seems like I went to bed with a baby and woke up and he was all grown up he is 14 inches from the floor to the top of his shoulders and has to weigh around 45-50 lbs I miss those baby days

Chevy does this to and it seems to be in the after noon and I try to play fetch with him because if I leave him alone and let him play by himself at the time he has the bullies I'm afraid he will hurt himself cause he will throw himself at the couch n run like a mad man barking and growling...
