Your welcome...though different circumstances I have been down the road praying for solid poop. And still today I am sometimes relieved that it's solid still. She took so much medication during those three months that if she hears a medicine bottle still today she thinks it's a treat...Silly...

Trust me...I still get a sigh of relief when I see our Aussie have a bowel movement. After three months of diarrhea trust me you are very appreciative of a nice deposit left by our fur babies. Glad that the pumpkin kicked in along with the prayers and got things moving... No more toy eating...

You mention a bulldog vet as to where you get your answers. And I'm not discrediting your comment about their being a breed different than others...yet you discredit them/bulldog knowledgeable vets in your previous post of them wanting to put the dog with stones on specific dog food for this...

Lindathedogsmaid I find it REALLY hard to believe that only two foods are worth feeding...And that you "know" that I'm causing long term damage to my dogs by feeding anything other than those two foods mentioned. Rescue is a good organization...and I am friends with a few who have started...

I wouldn't say all food a vet recommends is not good for bulldogs. I would assume each practice is different though. My vet practice all swear by Taste of the Wild. Which is a 5 star rating [going with the lower end of protein variety] We switched vets and dog food. This new vet practice swears...

I believe once said on another forum they were bred to a pug or french bulldog to get the smaller size...If I'm not mistaken... A small framed bulldog is not considered a mini but is just a small framed bulldog...;) I know back when I heard a lot about them...there was controversy over AKC not...

Sadly...prescription food doesn't get many stars in the rankings of dog quality. We made the switch from Purina OM Prescription food to TOTW But as you say FROMM is used by a large number of members with good results. Just make sure you switch over gradually by adding just a bit of the new food...
