This summer wreaked havoc on Ki's allergies. No matter what I did, her eyes continued to run and last week her wrinkles got really inflamed. She lost some hair in her nose rope as well. It started to spread this week, poor girl. We ended up at the vet today and no surprise, a round of steroids...
The second I grab Kiahs bowl she is running around in circles in the living room like a crazy bulldog. She starts doing obedience on her own and looking at me like, "ok dad, here look as she sits, then down stay and then hi5 the air as I walk over"
If I measure out her food before we go...
If she was from a reputable breeder, who registered, there might be DNA markers. Here's a link to the akc site with info.

Do you have any paperwork? Was Tia her original name? You could start contacting vets as well. That's a lot of leg work though.
I have an easy walk and a walk right for Ki. Depending on how she is acting. We use the walk right normally, I like the padded chest. I use the easy walk when she is being a brat (I haven't had to use it in months). The key here is the front clip.
I also came across the freedom harness. You...
In my situation it's a combination of environmental and heat. Every day when we get back from our walks I have to thoroughly clean her paws. During the day I have to limit her exposure to direct sunlight, (in the summer) the combination of the 2 wreaks havoc on Ki's skin. If I don't clean her...
Ki's favorite thing in the world are car rides. She could be in a dead sleep, snoring and if I say those 2 words...
I sware you'd never seen a bulldog move this fast. Haha I'm gonna have to make a video.
I've read his books and watched his training videos. He also did this 3 day training seminar called, Science based dog training with feeling. The course is $250 but he dropped a $100off code on Facebook. I'm thinking it might be worth it.
Here's a clip of an old one from 2010.
Here's the...
Thanks everyone! bullmama, we walk in the morning everyday for about a mile. She gets 3/4 cup twice a day. With treats throughout the day for good behavior. She has to work for everything. The only time she gets a free treat is when I'm leaving for the day. She had some serious separation...
Easy walk or walk right, I've used both and both work real well. Check out the freedom harness too. You will need to measure your bully for the latter as they are a bit custom.
One thing I would like to suggest to a few of you. Do some training while walking your EB. When Ki sees another dog...
So I took Ki to work with me last Friday for some socialization. She was GREAT, I'm so proud of her! She saw about 8 people and played with some kids. We stopped at the vet on the way back for a weigh in and she is officially 43lbs!!!! She's lost 17lbs!
I agree regarding the protectiveness vs aggression. i would take a good look at the day care as well, something doesn't seem right.

It has been far too long since I visited these boards to update all you wonderful people on Ki's progress. Life has been so busy, almost all of my times goes to work and Ki.
I have wonderful news. After over a year of working with Kiah, she is in almost perfect health. She is down to 49lbs...
