@nachothebulldog
Any blood? Bloody can indicate hookworm. Hopefully it's nothing gnarly and just a 24 hr thing. In the meanwhile, I'd give no more food until tomorrow but offer plenty of fresh water. Tomorrow light food until vet can see him.... When we had diarrhea in the past we did rice...
No, it's perfect! I LOVE HIM!
I wish I had an answer for you on the pooing. I am so glad to hear it's not sounding like could be anything parasite-y!!! Can you call the vet possibly and just let them know you were in recently and he's pooing, A LOT? You're doing everything you're supposed to be...
Ohhhh, we'd love a pic!!! When was he last at the vet? I think puppies maybe get a series of worming? Is there an appt coming up anytime soon? I don't know why but this sounds like possible coccodia to me - only because a friend went through this with her dog, same thing as you have described...
Aww, you poor thing. @2BullyMama is 2x a day ok for a puppy?
I could swear we split in 2 meals as a puppy, not 3, but can't be sure. May give his colon a break. I am shocked he's going so much with all the potty breaks you provide, and in the crate too.
As for the smell, I liked this shampoo...
@helsonwheels
amen.
Yes, def. a misunderstanding as I have never told anyone here to do anything more than wash their bowls, dry their dog's folds, wipe its butt, or try ceramic bowls. I am not a vet nor can I prescribe meds, so me being told I made recs was pretty laughable. There's no harm in...
I am wondering if you could change the feeding to just 2x a day to elminate the constant pooping? How is he drinking? How often is he allowed to go out? Delaney24
Do you wash the bowls in hot soapy water at least 2x a day? Do you dry the face after he drinks/eats? That can help. Could very possibly be a reaction to the metal in the bowl, esp if they are not new, which is what my vet told me. We did well with ceramic dishes. It wasn't until I changed to...
:ROFL2::evilplan::rofl: I can't imagine having the both of these guys. This photo makes me LOL!!!! Rooting for Canelo, sorry to hear you had a redo, hope all continues to go well!!!!
Thank you. I can't tell you how much I appreciated your post.
@Dollys Owner
Ask your vet if he may be a candidate for Apoquel or Atopica..
Is what I said.
I didn't recommend anything. I suggested the OP ask about them, for possible help if nothing else is working, which is what happened to...
Our boy did extremely well with Atopica (and the only thing that helped him long term) and had no side effects, but we kept him on probiotics all the time too. Apoquel was backordered when he started Atopica and once it was available, I was't switching going to switch from something that worked...
Ohh, get his bed cleaned with something else and see how he does. I agree with the other posters, return the Hills, look for something with limited ingredients and grain free if you can't do raw. (I never could.) Our boy was allergic to potato though so was hard to find foods without them! He...
