ok...may seem like a silly question, but....How do you do the water vinegar rinse? I do a 50/50 solution with water, but how much do you use when you rinse your EBD and do you just leave the solution on the dog and dry him off or do you do a final water rinse? When I did the vinegar/water...
(edited to include quote....mostly for my sake so I remember where I ordered the hoodie)
Thanks for sharing this!!! I just bought a hoodie there, finally a website with decent shipping!! There are a couple other sites with EB clothes, but there regular shipping prices are astronomical!!! One...
Y'all are some lucky people, I have to wash my boy and his bedding weekly. We have a dirty area in the back yard that grass won't grow in and he loves rolling in it and laying in itand gets dirty and stinky fast. I have never heard of the vinegar rinse and will be adding that in.
Thanks for all the responses y'all! My vets waiting room is filled with SD so I wasn't surprised when she recommended it. I agree with what you all said to regarding their education. I've found this to be the same across the board with Dr.'s and nutrition since I'm into body building. They...
Just wanted to share- my dog was in the vet today to have his stitches removed and the vet thought his hair was coming out to easily when you pet him and she recommended changing foods and his coat would be great. She had 2 recommendations- Purina Pro Plan and Hills Science diet. Now...my wife...
Ok, so my wife picked up Buddy yesterday and when I got home I couldn't believe it. He acted like a completely different dog. He was full of energy and VERY happy. The tail removal was very successful, the surgery site looks great, such a DRASTIC change from the first surgery. It's very...
Thanks everyone for the support and well wishes, getting my little buddy back today! Hopefully he's not too traumatized after all this. @pcchernard- yeah, I did the baby wipe thing for a while and it was pointless for Buddy, I would shower him, wash the pocket repeatedly and dry it out and...
Great job on saving this puppy!! Lots of people would walk away from a pup like that knowing they'd be immediately spending a lot of money at the vet to fix him.
From what I very recently discovered, Dr.'s will refer to the wrinkle OVER the tail as a tail pocket also. My dog had a corkscrew tail and the wrinkle over his tail was so deep you can insert your finger up to your second knuckle.....very deep pocket and highly prone to infection. He had over...
Just something to keep in mind....if you don't have time for all the demands of a puppy, you could adopt....it's much cheaper and you'd be giving a dog in need a great home. There are some young bully's and occasionally pups that come available. Either way, good luck!
Just hung up with the Dr. that did the operation, she said everything went great. Appearantly, his tail corkscrewed about 2 inches in so he still could have had infections. She went in and completely removed the bone, and sewed him up nicely.....free of charge!! Amazing!! She told the...
