I did talk to the doc again since I originally posted. She mentioned I might try melatonin. I ordered some from Amazon and should arrive today. We'll see if it does anything.
My Maggie just had surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. She had the TPLO procedure. Very expensive.
Now, five weeks post surgery, she's moving around very well. But of course, I still have to significantly limit her physical activity for a couple more months - no running, jumping, playing...

Maggie started sleeping on my bed with me when she was about six months old and everything was fine... for a while. At about 10 months, she started peeing on the bed. After doing this several times, she was banished from the bed and I started putting her in her crate at night.
Just recently...
Her crate is very big for her. It came with a divider, so I stuck that in there to make her sleeping area smaller. I also removed the thick blanket that was her bedding, and replaced it with a thin towel.
So far, two nights with no peeing. If there are further mishaps, I'll try completely...
During the day she doesn't seem to pee an abnormal number of times, so I'm not sure it's a medical problem. But I'll have her checked anyway.
And yeah, when she pees in her crate again I'll try removing all the bedding and just leaving a bare crate floor for her to sleep on. I'll see if that...
