It's difficult as we don't have much of a choice. Bruce would not get on well as a passenger. He doesn't sit still and can get uncontrollable in busy, loud places.
Looks like only TUI will fly snub nose. They require the crate to be 10% bigger than other breeds. Their cargo hold is temperature controlled this is the only way I could fly him.
Hi all.
Hope you are well.
My partner is in the RAF and we might be moving to Cyprus in August. I was just wondering how Olde English Bulldogges get on in the heat. We currently live in the UK and as you are aware it doenst get very hot here lol.
Also how are they with flying with their...
Thanks for the advice. Bruce is an olde english bulldogge which I believe is usually bigger and heavier than an English bulldog. His waist does go in after his rips and he has a nice shape I'll try and get a pic from above if he let's me lol
Hi,
Just wondering what weight some of your male bullies are. Bruce has been to the vets today and is 35kg at 2 year 5 months. She has asked me to take him back in 3 months for further weighing as she is worried he is putting on a lot of weight.
Thanks guys that really helps. Will definitely look into it more. Bruce loves other dogs, kids and people so we are really lucky. Just not sure how he would be at sharing his house and me tbh lol. He gets jealous when my other half tries to hug me and jumps us to either seperate us or to be...
Hi
I am wondering if it would be good for Bruce to have a friend
I don't want to bring in another puppy if it is going to adversely affect Bruce in anyway. But I was wondering if it would be good for him to have another dog to play with. I have been looking into something like a golden...
Update guys
Thank you so much for the advice.
I have been putting him in the kitchen with no form of acknowledgement when he becomes over excited and lunges.
I have also been forcing him to go for a walk on a night even in the rain. Only 20 minutes or so around the block.
I also spend at...
Great thanks for the advice. He was amazing up to 7 month, then good after 12 months till he hit 16month and has gone uncontrollable again. I wonder if it also has something to do with his dad not being here atm
I will give anything a try at this point. When he gets too much he goes in the kitchen where he sleeps for a time out. The bloody dog behaves in there lol
hi,
I honestly have no idea where I have gone wrong with Bruce.
Darren is away on detachment atm for another 3 months and I can't control him, he lunges at me, bites me, I say no and put a flat hand up and it seems to wind him up further.
If i ignore him he continues to jump at me and bite...
